Top Personal Finance Apps on Android in Mexico, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the personal finance app market on Android in Mexico showed varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Dinero Plan: Gastos Nota saw a noticeable decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 18.3K at the beginning of October and decreasing steadily to just 238 by the end of November. This app did not generate any revenue during this period.

tekae maintained relatively stable download numbers, with figures fluctuating between 1.3K and 2.4K weekly. Active users remained strong, peaking at 40.6K in the last week of December.

Money Tracker-Expense & Budget experienced a gradual increase in weekly revenue, starting at $379 and reaching $647 by the end of December. Downloads peaked at 3.5K in the final week, while active users rose from 6.9K to 10.2K over the quarter.

Money manager & expenses showed consistent performance, with revenue ranging from $494 to $718 weekly. Downloads surged to 2.2K in the last week, and active users increased from 39K to 40.5K.

PennyRecord, a newer entrant, saw a sharp rise in downloads, reaching 6.1K by the end of December. Weekly active users also increased significantly, from 500 to 6.7K.
